The 2004 Conference was held at Salve Regina
University, in Newport, Rhode Island, August 5-7. The conference
consisted of nine sessions of papers with 30+ attendees, consisting of
professors, graduate students, and practicing therapists. Participants
utilized Jungian and post-Jungian theory and practice to consider a wide
range of topics from the arts, humanities and sciences, including literature,
visual art, pop culture, colonial and post-colonial studies, religion,
film, knitting, architecture, masculinity, and other psychological perspectives.
The Keynote Dinner
was in the beautiful and historic Viking hotel, where Gilberto Carrasquero,
the Founder and President of the Bollingen Center for Transcendent Leaderhip
and Social Healing, gave the Keynote address. |
