Gary D. Astrachan, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist and Jungian analyst in private practice in Portland, Maine. He is a faculty member and supervising and training analyst at the C.G.Jung Institute in Boston and lectures and teaches widely throughout North America and Europe. He is the author of numerous scholarly articles in professional journals and books and writes particularly on the relationship between analytical psychology and Greek mythology, poetry, painting, film, postmodernism and critical theory.

Alexandra Fidyk, Ph.D. and Jungian psychotherapist, is Research Coordinator and core faculty in the Depth Psychology Department at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Carpinteria, CA. Her work weaves the imaginal and pedagogic, the creative and philosophic; her writing addresses questions about silence, eros, identity, and ethics. Forthcoming is Silence & Eros: Beckoning the Background Forward (Sense).

Matthew A. Fike received a Ph.D. in English from the University of Michigan and is an associate professor of English at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina. His second book, A Jungian Study of Shakespeare: The Visionary Mode, was published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2009.

Inez Martinez, Ph.D. is Professor Emerita of English from Kingsborough Community College, City University of New York. She has published psychological criticism on the works of a variety of authors including Kate Chopin, Zora Neale Hurston, Flannery O’Connor, James Baldwin, and Haruki Murakami. She is a member of the International Association of Jungian Studies and The Jungian Society of Scholarly Studies. 

Susan Rowland, Ph.D. is Reader in English and Jungian Studies at the University of Greenwich, UK. She is the author of three books 
on Jung, literary theory and gender. Her latest is Jung as a Writer (Routledge, 2005). She was also the founding Chair of the 
International Association for Jungian Studies, IAJS - www.jungianstudies.org.
